“When your mother calls – you answer” – Women of Bears Ears

A few weeks ago, the Women of Bears Ears wrote a powerful Op-Ed in the New York Times that everyone should read, especially as the #RedRoadtoDC Totem Pole Journey heads to Bears Ears National Monument on July 17. The House of Tears Carvers fully support the Women of Bears Ears and encourage everyone to follow their work to protect this very sacred corner of Turtle Island. This won’t be the first time the Totem Pole Journey has visited Bears Ears. Below are some photos of the Women of Bears Ears and from the Totem Pole Journey to Bears Ears from a few years ago.
